I'm Ellen, a Toronto-based photographer with a calm, down-to-earth approach and an editorial eye for real moments. The most meaningful photos happen when people feel safe, unhurried, and seen. When connection comes first and moments are allowed to unfold naturally.
My work lives at the intersection of documentary storytelling and thoughtful composition. I focus on genuine emotion, subtle details, and the in-between moments. I guide gently when needed. I step back when the story speaks for itself. The result: imagery that feels honest, effortless, and true to you.

From the first conversation to the final images, my approach is relaxed, thoughtful, and easy.
I guide gently when needed and step back when moments are happening on their own. Many clients feel comfortable quickly. That's when the real stuff comes through; genuine emotion, connection, and yes, a bit of humor too.
